Set the table.
4 players form 2 teams. Sit opposite your partner. Shuffle a double-6 set and deal 7 bones each.
Start the hand.
The highest-double holder opens with that double (highest tile if no doubles were dealt). After a win, either winning partner may open with any tile. Play continues counter-clockwise.
Match. Play. Pass.
Match an open end on your turn. Doubles sit crosswise and don’t create extra ends. Pass if you cannot play; unused stock stays out of play.
When the table locks.
If everyone passes, the player with the lowest pip count wins for their team. Tied lowest counts across opposing teams score no winner. Each won hand adds one to the score.
Count the win.
Play your last tile to win the hand. Each won hand adds one to the score.
