Set the table.
4 players form 2 teams. Sit opposite your partner. Shuffle a double-9 set and deal 10 bones each.
Start the hand.
A randomly chosen team opens; either partner may play any tile. After a win, either winning partner may open with any tile. Play continues counter-clockwise. After a tied block, the opening seat rotates.
Match. Play. Pass.
Match an open end on your turn. Doubles sit crosswise and don’t create extra ends. Pass if you cannot play; unused stock stays out of play.
When the table locks.
If everyone passes, the player with the lowest pip count wins for their team. Tied lowest counts across opposing teams score no winner. The winner scores the opponents’ remaining pips.
Count the win.
Play your last tile to win the hand. The winner scores the opponents’ remaining pips.
