Set the table.

Play as individuals. For three players, remove the double blank and deal nine each. For two, deal fourteen each. Keep your own score.

Start the hand.

The holder of the highest double opens with that double. Play continues counter-clockwise.

Match. Play. Pass.

On your turn, play one bone that matches an open end. Doubles sit crosswise and don’t create extra ends in these presets. If you have no matching bone, pass; the unused stock is out of play.

When the table locks.

On a block, the player with the lowest pip total wins. Tied lowest totals score no winner.

Count the win.

Win six hands while the others have zero. When another player wins a hand, previously scoring opponents return to zero.

Two or three players

With two players, deal fourteen bones each. With three, remove the double blank and deal nine each. Each player has their own score; there are no partners.
